Health care providers delivering personal care, attendant care, or other identified Medicaid services may use either the state's electronic visit verification (EVV) system or a commission-approved alternative system to document service provision

The Health and Human Services Commission must maintain and prominently post a current list of approved alternative EVV systems, including vendor contact information and a selection form link, with no limit on the number of systems that can be approved

Providers may select any approved alternative EVV system by signing a form, and the commission must timely approve the selection and allow 90 days for implementation

Vendors of approved alternative EVV systems selected by providers must be reimbursed for visit transaction costs if their system meets commission standards, to the extent allowed by federal law

Providers may continue using a previous vendor's EVV system if the commission changes vendors, provided the system meets standards; the commission must adopt rules governing data submission, transaction cost reimbursement, and an efficient approval process
