Extraordinary pecuniary loss awards cover lost wages and costs for home/vehicle accessibility modifications, job training, vocational rehabilitation, home health care, durable medical equipment, rehabilitation technology, and long-term medical expenses

Establishes a minimum floor of $9,000 for funeral and burial expense compensation, including travel costs for claimants to attend a deceased victim's funeral

Applies only to criminally injurious conduct occurring on or after the effective date; crimes occurring before that date remain governed by prior law

Takes effect September 1, 2025
