TX SB147

Requires county commissioners courts to designate at least one polling place on the main campus of any institution of higher education with at least 5,000 enrolled students

Mandates two polling places on campuses with at least 10,000 enrolled students, plus one additional polling place for every additional 10,000 students beyond that threshold

Applies to institutions of higher education as defined by Section 61.003 of the Education Code, which includes public universities, community colleges, and other post-secondary institutions

Takes effect September 1, 2025
