Allows political subdivisions with populations of 75,000 or less that lack a newspaper of general circulation to publish legally required notices through alternative media instead of traditional newspapers

Authorized alternative media includes social media, free newspapers, school newspapers, HOA newsletters, utility bills, direct mailings, and print or digital newsletters

Requires notices to also be posted for at least two continuous weeks on the political subdivision's website in a searchable format, accessible without registration or payment

Political subdivisions must hold a public meeting before adopting the alternative notice method and submit documentation to the attorney general describing their alternative approach

Attorney general will maintain a public list of political subdivisions using alternative notice methods and may adopt rules to administer the program; effective September 1, 2025
