Reduces required meeting frequency for county bail bond boards in counties with population under 1.3 million that contain a municipality of 750,000 or more people from monthly to six times per year (January, March, May, July, September, and November)

Meetings in affected counties must be called by the presiding officer, with additional meetings permitted at the presiding officer's discretion

If a board subject to the reduced meeting schedule tables or does not act on a license renewal application, the applicant's current license remains valid until the board's next meeting

Applies only to license renewal applications filed on or after the effective date; prior applications remain governed by existing law

Takes effect July 1, 2025 if passed with two-thirds majority vote, otherwise September 1, 2025
