Amends Section 28.003 of the Property Code to narrow the definition of "good faith dispute" in construction contract payment disputes

Specifies that a good faith dispute cannot include disputes related to separate contracts, work orders, or other agreements between parties that are unrelated to the specific construction contract under which payment is being requested

Prevents parties from withholding construction payments based on disputes arising from other business arrangements between the same parties

Applies only to contracts entered into on or after the effective date

Takes effect September 1, 2025
