Texas Workforce Commission must establish an advanced nuclear energy workforce development program in collaboration with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and Railroad Commission representatives

Program requires creation of a strategic plan to address labor supply gaps and talent retention in the advanced nuclear energy industry, including financial assistance through public-private partnerships

Customized curriculum requirements must be developed for degree and certificate programs focused on nuclear-grade welding, radiological control and monitoring, reactor operations, nuclear instrumentation and control, and various engineering fields (nuclear, electrical, chemical, civil, environmental)

Strategies must be implemented to educate job seekers about training requirements and connect them with advanced nuclear energy employers and employment opportunities

Annual report summarizing program activities must be submitted to relevant legislative committees by September 1 each year, with the act taking effect September 1, 2025
