Texas Education Agency must conduct a study on standardizing building designs for public schools

Study must assess the feasibility of establishing 10 standardized building designs that school districts would be required to choose from when constructing new campuses

Study must evaluate potential cost savings to individual school districts from using standardized building designs

TEA must submit a report with study results to the governor, lieutenant governor, speaker of the house, and chairs of legislative education committees by September 1, 2026

Act takes effect September 1, 2025 and expires September 1, 2027
