Creates a grant program administered by the Criminal Justice Division to provide financial assistance to state and local law enforcement agencies for purchasing and installing bullet-resistant components on peace officer vehicles

Covers bullet-resistant windshields, side windows, rear windows, and door panels for motor vehicles used by peace officers in their official duties

Requires the Criminal Justice Division to establish eligibility criteria, application procedures, guidelines for grant amounts, evaluation procedures, and monitoring/compliance procedures

Mandates that law enforcement agencies receiving grants provide proof of purchase and installation of the bullet-resistant components as soon as practicable after spending the funds

Takes effect September 1, 2025
