Requires the Health and Human Services Commission to conduct a public outreach and education campaign targeting mixed-status families (families with both U.S. citizens/nationals and non-citizens) about Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) eligibility

Campaign must clearly explain eligibility requirements related to residency and citizenship status for citizens, qualified aliens, and lawful permanent residents

Campaign must inform families that a child's receipt of benefits will not affect the immigration status of the child's parent

Materials must be provided in English and Spanish (or other majority language of targeted population) and be disseminated through health fairs, community clinics, and relevant organizations

Effective date is September 1, 2025
