Counties with populations of 10,000 or more must conduct early voting at the main polling place for at least 12 consecutive hours each weekday during the last week of the early voting period for primary and general elections (between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.)

Counties with 10,000+ population must offer early voting on the last Saturday for at least 12 hours and the last Sunday for at least 6 hours of the early voting period

Counties with populations under 10,000 are required to offer extended early voting hours on only one weekend day (instead of both Saturday and Sunday), with the specific day agreed upon by party chairs and publicly posted

State funding eligibility for defraying early voting costs is changed from counties under 55,000 population to counties under 10,000 population

Applies to elections with early voting beginning on or after September 1, 2025
