Prohibits governmental entities from adopting or enforcing ordinances, rules, or other measures requiring fire protection sprinkler systems in agricultural pole barns, nonresidential farm buildings, cotton gins, cottonseed storage buildings, grain storage facilities, livestock markets, or commercial feed mills

Defines "agricultural pole barn" as a nonresidential farm building where 70 percent or more of the perimeter walls are permanently open and allow free ingress and egress

Defines "nonresidential farm building" to include barns, greenhouses, shade houses, farm offices, storage buildings, workshops, poultry houses, animal handling facilities, and commodity storage and feed processing facilities

Passed the Senate on April 8, 2025 (27-3) and the House on May 22, 2025 (104-35)

Takes effect September 1, 2025
