Requires all public school board of trustees members and superintendents to complete a Texas Education Agency-approved course on adopting and administering trauma-informed school standards

School board members must complete the training upon each election or reelection; superintendents must complete it every four years

Training must cover recognition of trauma in students and educators, the relationship between educator wellness and student learning, effects of implicit/explicit bias on recognizing trauma, and effective district policies to prevent trauma's negative effects

Texas Education Agency must approve at least one qualifying course by December 1, 2025, and may approve both in-person and online courses, including those from community-based nonprofit organizations

State Board of Education must propose rules allowing completion of this training to count toward existing board member training requirements under Section 11.159 and superintendent continuing education requirements under Section 21.054
