Declares void as a matter of public policy any contract provision requiring a Texas-resident contractor, subcontractor, or materialman to litigate disputes about real property improvements outside of Texas

Requires lawsuits under voided venue provisions to be brought in Texas in the county where the defendant resides, the cause of action accrued, or the property is located

Allows parties to stipulate to an alternative venue after a dispute arises, even if the original contract provision was voided

Applies only to contracts entered into on or after September 1, 2025
