Clarifies that the protections do not limit schools from adopting anti-bullying policies under existing law (Section 37.0832, Education Code)

Specifies that the protections do not authorize conduct that constitutes criminal harassment under Section 42.07 of the Texas Penal Code

Takes effect immediately with a two-thirds vote of both legislative chambers, otherwise takes effect September 1, 2025
