Counties with a population under 70,000 would be required to conduct early voting by personal appearance for at least 5 hours per weekday (instead of 9 hours), between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Counties with a population of 70,000 or more must maintain the current 9-hour minimum for weekday early voting at the main polling place

The mandatory weekend voting requirement for primary and general elections (12 hours on the last Saturday, 6 hours on the last Sunday) would apply only to counties with populations of 70,000 or more

Smaller counties under 70,000 population would no longer be required to offer weekend early voting hours for primary and general elections
