Prohibits core curriculum courses at public higher education institutions from distorting significant historical events, teaching "identity politics," or being based on theories that systemic racism, sexism, oppression, or privilege is inherent in U.S. or Texas institutions

Requires communication courses to teach clear writing and public speaking skills; mathematics courses must cover key concepts and quantitative tools for everyday application

Mandates that life and physical science courses teach scientific method evaluation and understanding of subjects including biology, chemistry, physics, geology, astronomy, or computer sciences

Literature and philosophy courses must provide understanding of Western civilization's literary and philosophical development; U.S. government courses must teach founding principles including natural rights, liberty, separation of powers, and federalism

Applies beginning with the 2025-2026 academic year and takes effect immediately with two-thirds legislative vote, or September 1, 2025, otherwise
