Requires municipalities with populations over 100,000 to process building permit applications for affordable housing projects in no more than 50% of the time normally allotted for residential building permits

Defines "affordable housing project" as a housing development that has received an allocation of low income housing tax credits under Subchapter DD, Chapter 2306, Government Code

Mandates that municipalities with existing accelerated residential building permit review processes must allow affordable housing project applicants to use that accelerated process

Applies only to building permit applications submitted on or after September 1, 2025
