TX SB2100

Declares all audio and visual materials produced by the Texas Legislature, including its houses, committees, and agencies, to be public and not subject to copyright restrictions

Defines "visual materials" as photographic, video, or other material containing still or moving recorded images

Repeals existing Government Code Sections 306.0055 and 306.006, which previously governed use of legislatively produced materials

Preserves prosecution of offenses committed under the repealed Section 306.006 before the law's effective date, with such offenses governed by the former law

Takes effect September 1, 2025
