Amends Section 504.403 of the Transportation Code to allow state and federal judges to elect to receive specialty license plates that do not include the identifying words "State Judge" or "U.S. Judge"

Reenacts and amends a statute that was previously amended and then repealed by conflicting legislation during the 82nd Legislature in 2011

Defines "state judge" as justices of the supreme court, judges of the court of criminal appeals, court of appeals judges, district court judges, presiding judges of administrative judicial districts, and statutory county court judges

Passed the Senate 31-0 on April 24, 2025, and passed the House 93-28 on May 16, 2025

Takes effect September 1, 2025
