Establishes that breeder deer are the personal property of a licensed deer breeder when the deer is born and raised in captivity, held under a valid permit, and permanently tattooed with the breeder's unique identification number

Requires breeder deer to be permanently and legibly tattooed in one ear with the deer breeder's assigned unique identification number to qualify as personal property

Creates an exception stating that breeder deer intentionally released into the wild from a breeder's facility no longer qualify as personal property

Specifies that this new section takes precedence over conflicting provisions in Sections 1.011 or 1.013 of the Parks and Wildlife Code

Takes effect September 1, 2025
