TX SB2210

Requires election record custodians to make public election records available for inspection within 10 days of receiving a request, during regular business hours

Expands the definition of "election record" to include anything "created" by government under the Election Code, in addition to items distributed or received

Adds "created" to the list of qualifying actions for certificates, applications, notices, reports, and other documents to be considered election records

Repeals Section 1.012(b) of the Election Code, removing a previous limitation on public access to election records

Takes effect September 1, 2025
