Defines "dating violence" as the intentional use of physical, sexual, verbal, or emotional abuse to harm, threaten, intimidate, or control another person in a dating relationship

Requires school district student codes of conduct to explicitly prohibit dating violence alongside existing prohibitions on bullying, harassment, and making hit lists

Authorizes schools to place students who engage in dating violence in a disciplinary alternative education program or expel them, similar to existing authority for serious bullying offenses

Mandates that educational materials and support services on dating violence and healthy relationships be provided to students and parents when a dating violence offense occurs

Extends dating violence policies and procedures to open-enrollment charter schools and applies beginning with the 2025-2026 school year
