Requires public school instructional materials to use "BC" (Before Christ) and "AD" (Anno Domini) when referring to historical years

Prohibits instructional materials from using "BCE" (Before Common Era) or "CE" (Common Era) as date designations

Allows instructional materials to explain the meaning of "BCE" and "CE" terminology, even though those terms cannot be used as primary date references

Applies only to instructional materials acquired on or after September 1, 2025; existing materials are exempt and governed by prior law

Adds new Section 31.004 to Chapter 31 of the Texas Education Code
