Eliminates residency documentation requirements for military spouses seeking occupational licenses, while military service members must still provide proof of residency such as permanent change of station orders

Creates a separate notification process for military spouses to practice in Texas, requiring only submission of their military identification card and license verification, without the residency proof required of service members

Requires state licensing agencies to identify jurisdictions that either have substantially equivalent requirements or issue licenses similar in scope of practice to Texas licenses within 30 days of an applicant's submission

Mandates state agencies waive license application and examination fees for military spouses with out-of-state licenses similar in scope of practice, as well as for service members and veterans with substantially equivalent licenses

Takes effect September 1, 2025, and applies only to license applications filed on or after that date
