Prohibits the Health and Human Services Commission, the Department of Family and Protective Services, single source continuum contractors, and any other person from discriminating based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression in child welfare services

Bars adverse actions related to foster home licensure or verification based on a person's sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression

Prevents discrimination in child placement decisions on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression

Adds new Section 264.105 to Subchapter B, Chapter 264 of the Texas Family Code

Takes effect September 1, 2025
