Requires school districts to increase wages by $2 per hour for the 2025-2026 school year for full-time employees who are not administrators or teachers covered by the minimum salary schedule (targeting support staff such as custodians, bus drivers, and cafeteria workers)

Employees receiving the wage increase are entitled to maintain at least that same pay level in subsequent school years as long as they remain in the same position

Creates new state aid funding (Section 48.2521) to fully reimburse school districts for the cost of the mandated wage increases, including districts otherwise ineligible for state aid

Districts must use the state aid funding exclusively for the required wage increases

Repeals Section 21.402(c-1) of the Education Code and takes effect for the 2025-2026 school year, with immediate effect if passed by two-thirds vote or September 1, 2025 otherwise
