Exempts landlords from floodplain disclosure notice requirements for leases with terms of less than 30 days

Exempts temporary residential tenancies created by contracts for sale where buyers occupy before closing or sellers occupy after closing for up to 90 days

Requires floodplain notices to be included in a lease paragraph, as a lease addendum, or in a separate written document provided at or before lease execution

Mandates both landlord and tenant sign the document containing the floodplain notice to confirm provision and receipt

Applies only to lease agreements entered into or renewed on or after September 1, 2025; existing leases remain governed by prior law
