Requires the Texas Department of State Health Services to develop and implement a mandatory maternal health training program for health care providers who serve maternal patients

Training curriculum must be developed in collaboration with the Texas Maternal Mortality and Morbidity Review Committee and include evidence-based protocols for obstetric emergencies, TexasAIM maternal safety best practices, and maternal safety simulations

Mandates that the executive commissioner and appropriate licensing authorities require health care providers serving maternal patients to participate in the training program

Directs the executive commissioner to adopt rules for program implementation, including monitoring health care provider compliance

Takes effect September 1, 2025
