Adds a definition of "artificial intelligence" to Texas biometric identifier law, covering machine learning technologies that train statistical models for tasks like computer vision, speech processing, natural language processing, and content generation

Exempts artificial intelligence systems and their related training, processing, or storage activities from biometric identifier regulations, unless the AI is being used to uniquely identify a specific individual

Requires that if biometric data collected for AI purposes is later repurposed for a separate commercial use, the possessor becomes subject to existing biometric identifier laws regarding possession, destruction requirements, and associated penalties

Takes effect September 1, 2025
