Amends Section 162.0022(a) of the Occupations Code to shield certified health organizations from vicarious liability for medical care provided by employed physicians

Health organizations must adopt, maintain, and enforce policies ensuring employed physicians exercise independent medical judgment when providing patient care to qualify for liability protection

Liability protection applies only when the health organization does not interfere with, control, or otherwise direct the physician's independent medical judgment in patient care

Takes effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds vote from both legislative chambers, otherwise takes effect September 1, 2025
