Authorizes pharmacists to independently order and administer FDA-approved immunizations and vaccinations to patients aged 3 years and older without requiring a physician's written protocol, provided vaccines are on the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommended schedule

Requires pharmacists administering vaccines to children under 3 years of age to have a physician referral and operate under a physician's written protocol

Extends the notification deadline for pharmacists to inform prescribing physicians after administering an immunization from 24 hours to 14 days

Permits pharmacists to delegate immunization and vaccination administration authority to certified pharmacy technicians

Removes previous requirements that a licensed health care provider be unavailable and that failure to administer medication might interrupt critical drug therapy before a pharmacist could administer medications
