Extends existing state waivers and emergency orders that allow non-certified individuals to drive emergency medical services vehicles when partnered with state-certified EMTs and paramedics, eliminating the need for ongoing variance requests after initial approval

Applies the same waiver continuation to any new approvals granted after the effective date of the Act, removing variance request requirements

Authorizes the Texas Department of State Health Services to issue rules implementing the Act and ensuring providers understand updated certification requirements

Amends Chapter 773 of the Health and Safety Code by adding Section 773.055

Takes effect September 1, 2025
