Prohibits professional or trade associations from denying membership, access, or participation based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, or a person's exercise of freedom of speech or assembly, regardless of the association's bylaws

Allows associations to deny membership for speech that directly incites criminal activity, constitutes specific threats of violence against protected groups (including peace officers and judges), or is otherwise unlawful

Exempts professional or trade associations whose membership is exclusively based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, or national origin

Creates a private cause of action allowing aggrieved persons to sue associations for injunctive relief or damages, with courts authorized to award court costs and reasonable attorney's fees to the prevailing party

Takes effect September 1, 2025
