Department of State Health Services must lease approximately 16.08 acres of land from the Austin State Hospital tract to Travis County for a term of 99 years

Travis County pays no monetary consideration for the lease; instead, the county must use the property only for purposes that primarily promote a public purpose of the state

If Travis County fails to use the property for a public purpose for more than 180 continuous days, the lease automatically terminates and possession reverts to the Department of State Health Services

Travis County may operate public amenities on the property and construct, demolish, or maintain improvements, utilities, infrastructure, and amenities

The lease is exempt from certain statutory requirements under Health and Safety Code Sections 533.084 and 533.087, and Natural Resources Code Section 31.158
