Amends Section 42.01 of the Texas Penal Code to add new definitions for disorderly conduct related to noise near private residences

Establishes that an act occurs "near a private residence" if it produces its offensive consequences at that location, regardless of where the noise originates

Creates a presumption that noise exceeding 85 decibels is unreasonable after the person receives notice from a magistrate or peace officer that the noise constitutes a public nuisance

Adds a new presumption that noise exceeding 58 decibels or causing vibrations at a private residence within 30 feet of the property line where the noise is produced is unreasonable

Takes effect September 1, 2025
