Shortens the early voting period from 17 days to 12 days before election day for most elections (9 days for May uniform elections), while requiring early voting to continue through the day before election day and include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays

Requires all early voting polling place locations (main and branch) to also serve as election day polling places, effectively integrating early voting and election day voting operations at the same sites

Changes ballot counting procedures so that early voting ballots cast by personal appearance using automatic tabulating equipment are counted with election day ballots at the same polling location, rather than separately

Expands requirements for counties, cities, and school districts to post election results by polling location in addition to precinct totals on their public websites

Allows commissioners courts to combine election precincts with fewer than 3,000 registered voters following redistricting to avoid unreasonable expenditures, with protections against diluting voting strength under the federal Voting Rights Act

Repeals provisions related to separate weekend early voting requirements, the countywide polling place program exception for precinct combining, and Chapter 103 (relating to early voting ballot processing)
