Establishes that the Somervell County Hospital District board of directors consists of seven elected directors serving staggered four-year terms

Requires director elections to be held on the uniform election date in May of appropriate years

Directors elected in May 2026 must draw lots to determine initial staggered terms: two directors will serve two-year terms and three directors will serve three-year terms

Directors elected in May 2027 and all subsequent directors will serve standard four-year terms

Current directors serving before the effective date of September 1, 2025, will continue until their terms expire and successors qualify
