Prohibits county elections administrators from holding any office or position appointed by an elected official, expanding existing restrictions that already bar them from running for public office or holding political party positions

Automatically vacates the elections administrator position if the administrator becomes a candidate or accepts a prohibited office or position

Applies only to county elections administrators appointed on or after September 1, 2025

Grandfathers current elections administrators serving before the effective date, allowing them to continue under existing law

Takes effect September 1, 2025
