Requires public schools to provide parents or guardians of alleged bullying victims with suicide prevention materials and information on limiting the student's access to means of suicide, including firearms and medication

Mandates school districts and open-enrollment charter schools adopt policies for notifying parents or guardians when a student is identified as at risk of suicide, including providing the same prevention materials and means-restriction information

Requires schools to maintain records verifying that parents or guardians were notified of bullying incidents or suicide risk identification

Directs the Texas Education Agency, in coordination with the Health and Human Services Commission, to select the suicide prevention materials and means-restriction information to be provided to parents

Applies beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, with immediate effect upon two-thirds vote or otherwise September 1, 2025
