Increases minimum emergency power duration requirement for end stage renal disease (dialysis) facilities from 24 hours to 72 hours

Allows facilities to meet the 72-hour power requirement through either an on-site fuel source for generators OR a battery-powered generator with sufficient capacity

Requires facilities that cannot feasibly install or maintain adequate on-site fuel storage to enter into third-party fuel delivery agreements for power outages

Maintains existing requirements for on-site emergency generators to comply with National Fire Protection Association standards and be positioned at least 10 feet from electrical transformers

Facilities must update their emergency contingency plans to comply with new requirements by December 1, 2025, with the act taking effect September 1, 2025
