Amends Section 542A.003 of the Texas Insurance Code to require that the amount claimed in a presuit notice for property damage must be an amount the claimant will accept as full payment of the claim

If the insurer pays the claimed amount during the statutory notice period, the payment automatically settles and resolves the claimant's entire claim

Applies only to actions commenced on or after the effective date; pending actions remain governed by prior law

Takes effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds vote in both legislative chambers, otherwise becomes effective September 1, 2025
