Amends Section 76.004 of the Government Code to add a new requirement for community supervision and corrections department directors

Requires department directors to establish procedures that prohibit retaliation against employees

Mandates that department procedures must prevent conflicts of interest

Directors may either perform these duties directly or delegate responsibility for implementing the anti-retaliation and conflict of interest procedures

Takes effect September 1, 2025
