Increases the daily credit rate for jail confinement and labor from $100 to $150 per day for defendants working off fines and costs through county jail industries programs, workhouses, county farms, or public improvement projects

Raises the community service credit rate from $100 to $150 for every eight hours of service performed to discharge fines and costs

Expands credit eligibility for fine-only misdemeanors to include time spent confined while awaiting trial for another offense, not just time served on sentences

Applies to defendants who are confined, perform labor, or complete community service on or after September 1, 2025, regardless of when the underlying offense occurred

Amends multiple sections of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Articles 43.09, 45A.251, 45A.254, 45A.459, and 45A.460) to implement these changes
