Expands allowable uses of Jobs and Education for Texans (JET) Grant Program funds to include costs for acquiring, implementing, and maintaining technology solutions that support career and technical education programs

Eligible grant recipients include public junior colleges, public technical institutes, public state colleges, school districts, and open-enrollment charter schools

Existing permitted uses remain: start-up costs for new career and technical education programs, facility construction/renovation, equipment purchases, and programs leading to licenses, certificates, or postsecondary degrees

Programs must prepare students for high-demand occupations as identified by local businesses, including dual credit courses

Changes apply only to grants awarded on or after September 1, 2025
