Prohibits using or creating automated bots to purchase clothing (including shoes) on websites or apps, use multiple IP addresses/accounts/email addresses for purchases, or circumvent sales volume limitations and security measures

Defines "bot" as automated software performing repetitive tasks designed to impersonate human activity online, but excludes password managers and auto-fill software

Authorizes the Texas Attorney General to investigate violations and bring legal action for injunctive relief and restitution

Establishes civil penalties of up to $5,000 per violation, with each clothing purchase counting as a separate violation

Violations of court orders or injunctions enforcing the law carry penalties up to $50,000, and the Attorney General may recover court costs, attorney's fees, and investigation costs

Takes effect September 1, 2025, applying only to purchases occurring on or after that date
