Requires the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to enter into caregiver assistance agreements with parental child safety placement caregivers whose family income is at or below 300% of the federal poverty level, subject to fund availability

Provides monetary assistance to eligible caregivers for the entire duration of the parental child safety placement arrangement

Mandates DFPS to provide written notice to caregivers about the availability of and eligibility requirements for monetary assistance at the earlier of when the placement agreement is signed or when the child is placed with the caregiver

Adds new Section 264.908 to Subchapter L, Chapter 264 of the Texas Family Code

Takes effect September 1, 2025
