Requires independent school districts, their boards of trustees, and personnel to not only adopt legally mandated policies but also implement and act in accordance with those policy requirements

Extends the same implementation and compliance duty to home-rule school districts, their governing bodies, and school personnel for any policies required by law

Applies identical compliance requirements to campus charter schools and open-enrollment charter schools, including their governing bodies and personnel

Clarifies that any legal requirement to adopt a policy automatically creates an obligation to follow through with actual implementation, not just paper adoption

Takes effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds vote in both legislative chambers, otherwise becomes effective September 1, 2025
