Removes "and fitness" from the criteria the commission or department uses to establish qualifications for dietitian license applicants, including for renewed and reciprocal licenses

Eliminates the "provisional licensed dietitian" license category, removing references to the title and the "PLD" designation from protected terms

Updates the statutory reference for administrative penalties from Subchapter K to Subchapter F, Chapter 51, allowing license renewal refusal for unpaid penalties unless enforcement is stayed or a court rules the penalty is not owed

Repeals Section 701.002(9), Section 701.1511, and Section 701.403 of the Occupations Code

Takes effect September 1, 2025; passed Senate 31-0 on March 11, 2025, and House 103-34 on May 21, 2025
