Adds a license to carry a handgun number as an acceptable form of identifying information that applicants may provide on ad valorem tax exemption applications, alongside driver's license, personal identification certificate, or social security numbers

Allows charitable organizations with federal tax identification numbers to use that number in lieu of a license to carry a handgun number, in addition to the existing alternatives

Requires residence homestead exemption applications to include a copy of the applicant's license to carry a handgun as an acceptable alternative to a driver's license or state-issued personal identification certificate

Mandates that chief appraisers destroy copies of driver's licenses, personal identification certificates, or licenses to carry a handgun upon written request from the person who submitted them

Takes effect September 1, 2025, and applies only to exemption applications filed on or after that date
